Opened in 1903, expanded in April 2004, Beijing Railway Station (Chinese name 北京站, Beijing Zhan) is located in Dongcheng District, southeast of downtown of Beijing. This station covers 80,000 square metres, and has 8 island platforms, 16 railway tracks. Beijing Railway Station combines both ordinary passenger train station (denoted with letter Z/T/K) and high-speed train station(G/D/C series) that serves 231 high-speed trains and bullet trains per day, including Beijing–Shenyang high-speed railway and Beijing-Harbin high-speed Railway.

Subway line 2 is mostly recommended public transport to get to or leave Beijing Railway Station, including get to Beijing Daxing Airport and Beijing Capital Airport

Departures
Step 1: Get to Beijing Railway Station by subway line 2 (exit C), Taxi, Bus or Car at least 50 minutes before train departure.
Step 2: Go through Security Check and real-name ID check to enter departure Hall by showing passport.
Step 3: Find the waiting room and boarding gate (Ticket Check Gate). The waiting room No. will be in the confirmation email we send to you.
Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The boarding gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
Step 5: Ticket check. Please show your passport to station staff to check in. The boarding gate will be closed 5 minutes before the train departs
Step 6: Find the platform of your train.
