Nanjing South Railway Station
Operated on June 26 2011, Nanjing South Railway Station (Chinese name 南京南站, Nanjing Nan) is located in Yuhuatai District, around 7km south of Nanjing urban center. The station is a high-speed rail hub and also is one of the world's largest railway stations in terms of GFA (Gross Floor Area) that covers 700,000 square metre, and has 14 platforms and 28 railway tracks. Nanjing South Railway Station is mainly serving 324 high-speed trains per day, including the Beijing–Shanghai (Jinghu) high-speed railway, Shanghai–Nanjing (Huning) intercity railway, Nanjing–Hangzhou (Ninghang) high-speed railway and the Shanghai–Wuhan–Chengdu (Huhanrong) high-speed railway.
Nanjing South Railway Station has 5 floors, including high-speed rails station, north square and southsquare. The Metro Line 1 and Line 3 connects the station with Nanjing's urban center. And metro train S1 link this railwaystation and Nanjing Airport.
