Wuhan Railway Station is one high-speed rail station that covers 370,000 square metres, and has 11 island platforms, 20 railway tracks. The station handles around 138 high-speed trains and bullet trains per day, including Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Wuhan-Jiujiang High-speed Railway, and Wuhan-Huangshi Intercity Railway.

Step 1: Arrive at Wuhan Railway Station by metro, taxi, car or bus 45 minutes before train departure. If your train is to Hong Kong, please arrive at station at least 1 hour before the departure, because you need to pick up the train tickets at ticket office.
Step 2: Get through the real-name ID check. Please show your passport to station staff at entrance of station. The staff will scan your passport to check your identity document and your booking. (If your train is to Hong Kong, you also need to show your train tickets)
Step 3: Get through security check and find the boarding gate (Ticket Check). The live information of gate is on the overhead screens in departure hall, and the boarding gate No. of your train will be in our confirmation email we send you.
Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The ticket check gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
Step 5: Ticket check. Please show your passport to station staff to check in (If your train is to Hong Kong, you also need to show your train tickets). The gate will be closed 5 minutes before train departure

Do you need to collect train tickets?
Since Dec 2019, the electronic tickets have been available on most high-speed and bullet train routes from or to Wuhan Railway Station.
It means international travellers can show their passports, likes Chinese ID to check in and board the train directly, and don't need to collect the printed tickets at ticket office.
But if your train is to Hong Kong, you still need to pick up the train tickets at ticket office before check in.
