Hankou Railway Station
Opened in 1898, rebuilt in 2008-2010 and reopened in Sept 2009, Hankou Railway Station (Chinese name 汉口站，Hankou Zhan) is located in Jianghan District, just 3km north of Wuhan downtown. It covers 190,000 square metres, and has 18 platforms, 20 railway tracks. Hankou Railway Station combines both ordinary passenger train station (denoted with letter Z/T/K) and high-speed train station(G/D/C series) that handles 172 high-speed trains and bullet trains per day, including Wuhan-Shanghai High-Speed Railway and Wuhan-Xiaogan Intercity Railway.

Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The ticket check gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.

Do you need to collect train tickets?
Since Dec 2019, the electronic tickets have been available on most high-speed and bullet train routes from or to Hankou Railway Station.
It means international travellers can show their passports, likes Chinese ID to check in and board the train directly, and don't need to collect the printed tickets at ticket office.
