Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to or leave Nanjing South Railway Station.
Taxi drop-off area: South entrance on 2F, and North entrance on 1F and 2F
Taxi pick-up area: West Exit and East Exit on 1F

Bus
There are around 8 bus routes connecting Nanjing South Railway Station and Nanjing city centre, including bus 19, bus 84, bus 129, and airport bus to Nanjing Airport
The bus station is on 1F
But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
