Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station can be reached by metro line 2, metro line 10, metro line 17, shuttle bus, city bus and taxi. Metro trains are mostly recommended that leave or get to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.

Metro line 2, Line 10 and Line 17

There are three metro lines at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, Metro line 2, line 10 and line 17. They connect Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station with Shanghai's urban center, Shanghai Hongqiao and Pudong Airport.

Metro is the most convenient, fastest and cheapest way between Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and Shanghai city centre.

Line 2: the first metro train is at 06:07 and the last is at 22:48(weekday), 23:58(weekend)

Line 10: the first metro train is at 05:55 and the last is at 22:00(weekday), 23:50(weekend)

Line 17: the first metro train is at 06:00 and the last is at 22:30

Taxi

Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to or leave Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station. Passenger can take Taxi easily at the west and east exit gate of transfer Hall, B1 level.

Bus

There are around 15 bus routes connecting Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station with Shanghai city centre, including Airport bus to Shanghai Pudong Airport

But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
