Ticket counters in Hong Kong West Kowloon Railway Station
Ticket concourse are located on B1 level. There are 39 Self-service ticket purchase / collection machines and 28 ticket counters. Chinese Mainland passenger and Hong Kong, Macau passengers can collect the train tickets at 12306 ticket collection machines by their ID card or Mainland Travel Permit. But international passenger need to collect train tickets at ticket counters.
The Ticketing Concourse has a total of 28 ticketing counters to provide Cross Boundary and Mainland Domestic ticketing and other relevant services, including ticket purchase, refund, alteration, collection and lost tickets.
The ticketing office in front of the gates provides alteration and lost ticket services for passengers.
The ticketing counter in front of the gates provides excess fares and lost ticket services for passengers.
The ticketing counter at the Departure Concourse provides alteration and lost ticket services for passengers.
Why do you need to collect train tickets?
The train tickets are not e-tickets, and the passports cannot be recognized by self-service ticket machines. So international passengers need to collect their train tickets at ticket counters.
How to collect train tickets?
After you book your train on Chinaairlinetravel. We will send your one ticket confirmaion email, including the Collecting Ticket Number (confirmation number). There are two ways to collect your train tickets.
Way A: please get to the ticket counters at No.1 to No.4 with green signboard on B1 Level to collect your train's paper tickets by this number and your passport 1.5 hours before the departure time.
Way B: please enter the Ticket Collection No. and password at MTR self-service machine to pick up your train tickets
What is the collection fee / handing charges ?
The international passengers need to pay the collection fee / handing charges when they collect the train tickets by passport at ticket counters
The following handling fee will be charged for ticket collection at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station through the designated counters operated by China Railway (Hong Kong) Holdings Ltd.:
If the ticket fare is below RMB200, the handing charge is HKD 10 per ticket.
If the ticket fare is RMB200 to below RMB300, the handing charge is HKD 20 per ticket.
If the ticket fare is RMB300 and above, the handing charge is HKD 30 per ticket.
How long I can pick up the train tickets?
It depends on how many people are lining up, usually, less than 40 minutes.
If you meet emergency, you can try to ask the station staff to help you for collecting ticket.
What is ticket collection cut-off time?
Ticket collection cut-off time is 45 minutes prior to train departure
