Opened on Dec 26 2023, Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station (Chinese name 广州白云站, Guangzhou Baiyun Zhan) is located in Baiyun District, 10km northwest of Guangzhou downtown, 25km south of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport(CAN). This new station covers 430,000 square metres, and has 11 platforms, 24 railway tracks. Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station combines both ordinary passenger train station (denoted with letter Z/T/K) and high-speed train station(G/D/C series) that currently serves 86 high-speed trains and bullet trains per day, including Guangzhou–Qingyuan intercity rail, Guangzhou–Meizhou–Shantou railway, Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway, and Guangzhou-Zhanjiang high-speed railway.


Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station has 7 floors. The entracnce, ticket offices, departures and arrivals of high-speed trains are all on 1F. The departures and arrivals of Guangdong - Hong Kong Through Train are on 4F. Metro stations are on B1.

Departures
Step 1: Get to Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station by Taxi, bus or Car.
Step 2: Go through Security Check and real-name ID check to enter departure Hall by showing passport.
Step 3: Find the Boarding Gate (Ticket Check Gate). The gate No. will be in the confirmation email we send to you.
Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The boarding gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
Step 5: Ticket check. Please show your passport and confirmation No. to station staff to check in. The boarding gate will be closed 5 minutes before the train departs

Do you need to collect paper tickets?
Since Dec 2019, the electronic tickets have been available on all high-speed and bullet train routes from or to Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station.
It means international travellers can show their passports, likes Chinese ID to check in and board the train directly, and don't need to collect the paper tickets at ticket office.

Arrivals
Step 1: After get off your train, follow direction signs to exits. And please show your passport and confirmation No.(or paper ticket) to station staff to check out.
Step 2: Leave Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station by metro, bus, taxi or car. Metro line 1 and line 3 are mostly recommended.
