Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to or leave Chengdu East Railway Station.
Taxi drop-off area: South entrance and North entrance on 2F, West Entrance on 1F
Taxi pick-up area: West Exit and East Exit on B1 floor

Bus
There are around 19 bus routes connecting Chengdu East Railway Station with Chengdu city centre, including bus 4, bus 47, bus 91 and airport bus to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport
The bus stations are on East Square, B1, Chengd East Railway Station.
But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
