Opened on Jan 08 2022, Taizhou Railway Station (Chinese name 台州站, Taizhou Xi Zhan) is located in Jiazhi Street, Jiaojiang District, 7km west of Taizhou downtown. When it was put into operation, the original Taizhou Railway Station was renamed Taizhou West Railway Station.

It covers 84,790 square metre, and has 4 platforms and 10 railway tracks. Taizhou Railway Station is the terminus of the 266.9-kilometer Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taizhou intercity high-speed railway in East China's Zhejiang province, which is the first high-speed railway largely funded by domestic private capital, and was designed with eight stops and to facilitate speeds of 350 kilometers per hour. t takes 63 minutes to travel between Hangzhou and Taizhou at maximum speed.

Taizhou Railway Station mainly serving 47 high-speed trains per day, including Ningbo, Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Shanghai, Xiamen.

There are 9 bus routes at Taizhou Railway Station. The passengers can take Bus Bus 128, 156 or 157 to downtown of Taizhou. The bus stations is on the west station square.

Departures

Step 1:Get to Taizhou Railway Station by Taxi, Bus or Car 45 minutes before train departure.

Step 2: At entrance, go through Security Check and real-name ID check to enter departure Hall by showing passport.

Step 3: Find the Boarding Gate (Ticket Check Gate). The gate No. will be in the confirmation email we send to you.

Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The boarding gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.

Step 5: Ticket check. Please show your passport and confirmation No. to station staff to check in. The boarding gate will be closed 5 minutes before the train departs

Do you need to collect paper tickets?

Since Dec 2019, the electronic tickets have been available on most train routes from or to Taizhou Railway Station.

It means international travellers can show their passports, likes Chinese ID to check in and board the train directly, and don't need to collect the paper tickets at ticket office.

Arrivals

Step 1: After get off your train, follow direction signs to exits. And please show your passport and confirmation No.(or paper ticket) to station staff to check out.
