Opened on Sep 28 2009, Taizhou West Railway Station (Chinese name 台州西站, Taizhou Xi Zhan) is located in Yulin, Huangyan District, 17km west of Taizhou downtown. Its former name was Taizhou Railway Station which was renamed Taizhou West Railway Station on June 25 2021.
It covers 21,300 square metres, and has 5 platforms and 13 railway tracks. Taizhou West Railway Station is one of the stations of high-speed trains (denoted with letter G, D, and C) bounding from Taizhou city to major cities in China that mainly serving 68 high-speed trains per day, including Ningbo - Taizhou - Wenzhou, Hangzhou - Shaoxing - Taizhou High-Speed Railway, and Jinhua - Taizhou High-Speed Railway.

Bus
There are 11 bus routes at Taizhou West Railway Station. The passengers can take Bus 912, 903 or K1 to downtown of Taizhou. The bus stations is on the right of station square. Passenger need to walk to the bus station through around 100 metres underground passage from exits on 1F

Departures
Step 1:Get to Taizhou West Railway Station by Taxi, Bus or Car 45 minutes before train departure.
Step 2: At entrance, go through Security Check and real-name ID check to enter departure Hall by showing passport.
Step 3: Find the Boarding Gate (Ticket Check Gate). The gate No. will be in the confirmation email we send to you.
Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The boarding gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
Step 5: Ticket check. Please show your passport and confirmation No. to station staff to check in. The boarding gate will be closed 5 minutes before the train departs

Do you need to collect paper tickets?
Since Dec 2019, the electronic tickets have been available on most train routes from or to Taizhou West Railway Station.
It means international travellers can show their passports, likes Chinese ID to check in and board the train directly, and don't need to collect the paper tickets at ticket office.

Arrivals
Step 1: After get off your train, follow direction signs to exits. And please show your passport and confirmation No.(or paper ticket) to station staff to check out.
