How to get to Hefei Railway Station by Metro or Taxi

Hefei Railway Station is located in Yaohai District, 3km northeast of Hefei downtown, 11km northeast of Hefei South Railway Station, 44km southeast of Hefei Xinqiao Airport. Hefei Railway Station can be reached by metro line 1, line 3, taxi and bus. Metro is strongly recommended.

Option 1, Take Metro Line 1 or Line 3

Hefei railway station can be reached by Metro line 1 or line 3. Metro is mostly recommended public transport to get to Hefei Railway Station.

Metro station: B1 floor on south station square (A and D entrace/exit)

Interval: 6 - 7 minutes

Metro line 1: the first train: 06:00, the last train: 22:35

Metro line 3: the first train: 06:00, the last train: 22:37

Ticket price: RMB2-8

Option 2, Take Taxi

Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to Hefei Railway Station.

Taxi areas are on south station square.

The taxi fare from Hefei downtown to Hefei Railway Station is around RMB10.

Option 3, Take Bus

There are 27 bus routes to or pass Hefei Railway Station, and two bus stations.

Bus station on south square: Bus 1, Bus 10, Bus 11, Bus 22, Bus 85, Bus 101, Bus 111, Bus 114, Bus 119, Bus 159, Bus 226, Bus 301, Bus 509, Bus 704, Bus 705, Bus 706, Bus 709, Bus 902.

Bus station on north square: Bus 40, Bus 47, Bus 152, Bus 304, Bus 504, Bus 682, Bus 683, Bus 686, Bus T3, Bus T5, Bus T6.

But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
