How to get to Guangzhou North Railway Station by Metro, Taxi or Bus
Guangzhou North Railway Station is located in Huadu district, 34km northwest of Guangzhou downtown. Public transports are included metro, bus and taxi. Metro line 3 and line 9 are mostly recommended.
Option 1, Metro Line 3 and Metro Line 9
Step 1: take Metro line 3 from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport or Guangzhou downtown to Gaozeng Station
The first metro train is at 06:02
The last is at 23:17
Interval: 5 minutes
Step 2: Transfer Metro line 9 to Guangzhou North Railway Station
The first metro train is at 06:15
The last is at 20:18
Interval: 5 minutes
Duration: 25 minutes
Ticket price: RMB3-8
Tips: due to the construction of the Guangzhou–Qingyuan intercity railway, the metro station is inaccessible from the Guangzhou North rail station. Therefore, passengers need to get off at the preceding station, Huacheng Lu, and walk along the road (around 1km), or take bus 702, or take taxi.

Option 2, Take Taxi
Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to Guangzhou North Railway Station.

The taxi fare to Guangzhou North Railway Station Guangzhou from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is around RMB50 and the duration is around 35 minutes

There are 12 bus routes to or pass Guangzhou North Railway Station, The bus stations is on station square.
But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
