Opened in 1958, finished the renovation on Oct 17 2018, Yinchuan Railway Station (Chinese name 银川站, Yinchuan Zhan) is located in Jinfeng District, 5km west of Yinchuan city centre.
Yinchuan railway station covers 60,000 square metres, and has 7 platforms and 15 railway tracks. Yinchuan Railway Station is one of the stations of Xian-Yinchuan High-speed Railway, Yinchuan-Lanzhou High-speed Railway, Yinchuan-Baotou High-speed Railway, Baotou-Lanzhou Railway. It serves around 11 high-speed trains and bullet trains per day, including Yinchuan to Xian and Chengdu.

Departures
Step 1:Get to Yinchuan Railway Station by Taxi, Bus or Car 45 minutes before train departure.
Step 2: At entrance, go through Security Check and real-name ID check to enter departure Hall by showing passport.
Step 3: Find the Boarding Gate (Ticket Check Gate). The gate No. will be in the confirmation email we send to you.
Step 4: Have a seat near the gate to wait for check-in and boarding. The boarding gate will be opened 20 - 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
Step 5: Ticket check. Please show your passport and confirmation No. to station staff to check in. The boarding gate will be closed 5 minutes before the train departs

Do you need to collect paper tickets?
Since Dec 2019, the electronic tickets have been available on most train routes from or to Yinchuan Railway Station.
It means international travellers can show their passports, likes Chinese ID to check in and board the train directly, and don't need to collect the paper tickets at ticket office.
