How to get to Urumqi Railway Station by Taxi and Bus
Urumqi Railway Station is located in Toutunhe District, 12km northwest of Urumqi downtown, 14km southeast of Urumqi Diwopu Airport. Urumqi Railway Station can be reached by taxi and bus. Taxi is mostly recommended.
Option 1, Take Taxi
Taxi is one convenient and fast to get to Urumqi Railway Station.

The taxi fare from Urumqi downtown to Urumqi Railway Station is around RMB24, 25 minutes.

Option 2, Take Bus
There are 11 bus routes to or pass Urumqi Railway Station, including bus 29, bus 54, bus 301, bus BRT5, airport bus, etc. The bus stations are on north station square.
But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
