How to get to Chaoshan Railway Station
Chaoshan Railway Station is located in Chaoan district, 18km southwest of Chaozhou downtown. Public transports are included bus and taxi. Taxi is mostly recommended.
Option 1, Take Taxi
Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to Chaoshan Railway Station.
Taxi drop-off and pick-up areas are on north square and south square.
The taxi fare to Chaoshan Railway Station from Chaozhou downtown is around RMB45 and the duration is around 30 minutes

Option 2, Take Bus
There are 6 bus routes to or pass Chaoshan Railway Station, including bus k1 and bus k2 from Chaozhou downtown, bus 181 from Shantou, and free shuttle bus from Jieyang Chaoshan Airport.
But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
