Located 35km southeast of Shanghai city centre, Shangahai Pudong International Airport(PVG) is the second biggest airport in China and the ninth-busiest in the world. Pudong Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 was opened on Sep 16 1999 which is primarily used by two domestic Airlines: China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, and SKYTEAM Airlines, including Qantas, American Delta Airlines, Air France, Japan Airlines, Korean Air.
The Terminal 2 was opened on March 26, 2008 which is primarily used by Air China and other Star Alliance members, including Cathay Pacific Airways, Air Canada, Qatar Airways, American Airlines, Finnair, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines, etc.
Opened on Sep 16, 2019, Shanghai Pudong International Airport Satellite Terminal was opened that is located south of the airport's existing T1 and T2. This H-shaped Satellite Hall is the world's largest single-building satellite terminal.
