Opened on April 26, 2018, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 2 covers an area of 880,700 square meters making it one of the world's largest airport terminal facilities. It has a main building and five concourses. The main building is divided into four floors, with the arrival hall on the first, transit, domestic mixed flow and international arrival on the second, departure hall on the third, and functional areas such as Dining, timing hotel and two-compartment lounge on the fourth.
Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 2 is located 3km north of Terminal 1. It can be reached by Metro line 3, airport bus and taxi.

Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 2 can be reached by the Northern extension of Metro line 3, Airport bus, Taxi.
A. Metro Line 3. Metro Line 3 connects Guangzhou Baiyun Airport with downtown of Guangzhou, including Canton Tower, Tianhe, Kecun, Guangzhou East Railway Station. It is the cheapest and most convenient way. The metro station name is Airport North Station (机场北).
B. Airport City buses. 16 airport bus lines serve the airport, providing rapid links to Guangzhou various destinations.
C. Airport Taxi. Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to or leave Terminal 2 of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport

Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 2 has four floors in the main building. The arrival hall is on the first, the transit, domestic mixed flow and international arrival are on the second, departure hall is on the third, and functional areas such as Dining, timing hotel and two-compartment lounge are on the fourth floor. Service location: between gate 42 and 43, gate 46 and 47 on third floor of departure hall, check-in areas H33, H34, J1 and J2 island heads; the central business district after third floor border inspection of international departure, the cross transit channel of second floor; next to gate 51, 53 of arrival hall, GTC traffic center.
