Opened on Aug 05 2004, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 1 consists of a main building and six concourses, covering 52,300 square metres. There are four floors in the main building, of which the ground floor leads to subway, parking lot and arrival area A and B. The first floor is mainly a commercial area, and the second transit interlayer, and third floor are departure hall.

Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 1 is located 3km south of Terminal 2. It can be reached by Metro line 3, airport bus and taxi.

Terminal 1 Transports

Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 1 can be reached by the Northern extension of Metro line 3, Airport bus, Taxi.

A. Metro Line 3. Metro Line 3 connects Guangzhou Baiyun Airport with downtown of Guangzhou, including Canton Tower, Tianhe, Kecun, Guangzhou East Railway Station. It is the cheapest and most convenient way. The metro station name is Airport South Station (机场南).

B. Airport City buses. 16 airport bus lines serve the airport, providing rapid links to Guangzhou various destinations.

C. Airport Taxi. Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to or leave Terminal 1 of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport
