How to get to Lhasa Railway Station from downtown by Taxi or Bus
Lhasa Railway Station is located 7km southwest of Lhasa urban center. The public transports are included city bus and taxi. Taxi is mostly recommended. Get the Map
Option 1, Taxi
Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to Lhasa Railway Station.
The one way fare to Lhasa Railway Station from downtown is around RMB20-25, around 25 minutes.
If you take the taxi, you can show the following Chinese sentence to Taxi driver:
司机, 请带我去拉萨火车站, 谢谢! (Please drive me to Lhasa Railway Station, thank you!)

Option 2, Bus
There are 4 bus routes at Lhasa Railway Station, including line 1, line 13, line 14 and line 30. The passengers can take city bus to Lhasa city. The bus stations is on the right of station square.
Bus ticket fares: RMB2-8 per person / one way
But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
