China has implemented unilateral visa free access fro 38 countries

As of 12 December 2024, China has implemented unilateral visa free access for travelers holding ordinary passports from 38 countries, including:
Europe: France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia
Oceania: New Zealand, Australia
Asia: South Korea, Japan

Individuals holding ordinary passports from the aforementioned countries who come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit through the country are eligible for visa free entry for no more than 15 days.

In addition, China has now achieved comprehensive visa free access with 25 countries. including Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei. Thailand, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Georgia, Antigua and Barbuda, Solomon Islands, and so on.
