24-hours visa free transit through one of 9 major airports in China

China's National Immigration Administration officially implements five measures to facilitate foreign nationals coming to China, effective on Jan 11 2024, including 24-hours visa free transit for all international travelers through one of 9 major airports in China to a third country or region.

Starting from Jan 11 2024, all foreign travelers with international connecting flights within 24 hours can transit through one of 9 major airports in China to a third country or region without going through immigration procedures and enjoy China visa-free transit, including Beijing Capital(PEK), Beijing Daxing(PKX), Shanghai Pudong(PVG), Hangzhou Xiaoshan(HGH), Xiamen Gaoqi(XMN), Guangzhou Baiyun(CAN), Shenzhen Bao'an(SZX), Chengdu Tianfu(TFU), and Xi'an Xianyang(XIY) Airport.
