Officially put into service in 2006, Sanya Phoenix International Airport(SYX) Terminal 1 covers 53,100 square metres and has 2 floors. The first floor is domestic arrival hall and tranfers. The 2nd floor is domestic departures hall.

Terminal 1 mainly serves all China domestic flights.

Terminal 2 is located 300 metres west of Terminal 1. Passengers can walk to T1 from T2.
