How to get to Xishuangbanna Railway Station from downtown by Taxi or Bus

Xishuangbanna Railway Station is located 4km southwest of Jinghong urban center. The public transports are included city bus and taxi. Taxi is mostly recommended. Get the Map

Option 1, Taxi

Taxi is one convenient and fast, but also the most expensive way to get to Xishuangbanna Railway Station.

The one way fare to Xishuangbanna Railway Station from downtown is around RMB16, around 14 minutes.

If you take the taxi, you can show the following Chinese sentence to Taxi driver:

司机, 请带我去西双版纳火车站, 谢谢! (Please drive me to Xishuangbanna Railway Station, thank you!)

Option 2, Bus

There are 2 bus routes at Xishuangbanna Railway Station, including Jinghong line 4 and line 6. The passengers can take Bus Jinghong line 6 to Jinghong city, or take Bus Jinghong line 6 to Xishuangbanna Gasa Airport. The bus stations is on the right of station square.

Bus ticket fares: RMB2 per person / one way

But the buses are not recommended to foreign passengers, because most bus stops are in Chinese and few bus crew or driver can speak English.
